About Me

I love teaching!!  This is my seventh year to teach; six of those years here at White Oak. I am from Florida’s east coast so I grew up in a totally different ecosystem. Sharing my knowledge of the animals, weather, and environment of my native state is a passion of mine.

I work among the best teachers in East Texas, at a school that is filled with pride and honor. I love pep rallies, football games, and cheering on the kids at basketball games. During the summer and holidays I enjoy swimming, reading, and snorkeling. My family and I love to travel and cruise to the Caribbean. I have 2 boys: Daniel, who is in the 12th grade and Christopher 9th grade at Longview High School . They are participating in the International Baccalaureate Program.

  1. Hi,
My name is Robert and I plan on teaching 7th or 8th grade science in South Texas. I am a retired U.S. Navy meteorologist and oceanographer (20 years). I have traveled the world (especially Asia) and would like to pass my knowledge to my students. I am new to teaching and your website is awesome! Look forward to learning from your website in the coming weeks. Any additional resources or assistance is appreciated.

    Thanks
