Activities and Lessons for 12/2 – 12/13

Mon 12/2 PROJECT: Students will go shopping in the classroom today. Using other class mates’ catalogs, each student will learn to fill out an order form. HOMEWORK: “DOES THIS MAKE CENTS?”

Tues 12/3 Continue shopping and begin filling out checks to purchase items HOMEWORK: “MULTI-STEP MENU”

Wed 12/4 Today students will finalize writing checks to companies and learn to balance their checkbook.

Thurs 12/5 Students will tally their orders and work on company balance sheets

Fri 12/6 LAST DAY of PROJECTS- students will present their catalogs and their total amount earned for their company. Presentations will be video taped and students will put the video on their blog.
